"Yes, it's very enjoyable here." She rests a hand on the table, leaning forward just slightly. "Would you give me the great pleasure of knowing your name?"

"Its best for you to just know me by my profession. I'm a simple shoemaker, but I prefer the term Cobbler. Its a much older term and it just seems more professional."

The few patrons sitting closest to the two and hear the conversation seem to cringe a little as the words spoken, but return to their drinks as if they heard nothing. He just continue to smile up at her.

"As you wish, Cobbler." She continues to smile sweetly. "What would you like to warm you up on this cold and dreary night?"

"Plain, I would definately prefer it plain. Your very effective at your job, trying to give the customer what he wants and all."

He continues to smile up at her, the sounds of children can be heard strangely from somewhere behind him.

"Why thank you." Her eyes flick towards the sounds of children, but soon return to him. "Excuse me please and I'll see you get your cider soon."

She lifts her hand from the table and turns towards the bar to go.

He watches her leave, the friendly smile still on his face. As she gets to the bar he returns to look at the patrons around them. Many of them refusing to look at his face, and those who do and see his smile immediately turn away.
